MMA SPORTS: First off, helluva fight with Uncle Creepy down under! What were your thoughts on the fight?
DJ: It was a good fight; Ian McCall is a tough dude, really looking forward to the rematch

MMA SPORTS: Also, what is your take on the error they made in the judging/scores? What did you think when you heard about it?
DJ: The error the judges made was a human mistake, and everyone isn't perfect. When Dana told me it was suppose to go to a draw and to the sudden death round, I was like "damn they messed up and the fans got robbed the 4th round."

MMA SPORTS: How do you feel the rematch will be different then the first match?
DJ: I think the rematch will be different... there is a lot of hype going into it, and everybody knows its going to be fireworks!

MMA SPORTS: If you win, you will face Benavidez for the 125lb title, what are your thoughts on Joe, and how do you see a fight with him going?
DJ: Like I tell everybody, Joe B is a killer (smiles), he is a great fighter, and he's got some good skills. The fight with him would be a sick fight.

MMA SPORTS: How do you like fighting at 125 by the way?
DJ: Fighting at 125 is cool… only difference is I can't eat whatever I want now.

MMA SPORTS: How was the cut?
DJ: The weight cut was easy; I made the weight with out struggle using good dieting.

MMA SPORTS: What did you think of Australia and the Australian fans?
DJ: Australia was awesome! And the fans are great as well.

MMA SPORTS: Would you like to go back and fight there again?
DJ: I would love to fight there again.

MMA SPORTS: And did the long plane trip and time difference affect you at all in the fight?
DJ: No, I don't think so. It was a long trip, and I was ready to get back home.

MMA SPORTS: Do you plan on fighting at both 125 and 135 regardless of if you win the title or not? Since you are a contender in both classes?
DJ: We will have to cross that bridge when the time comes (smiles).

MMA SPORTS: I know you are a big gamer, what’s it like being able to play as yourself in UFC Undisputed 3?
DJ: Its cool man. I am happy I made it into the game. Now hopefully that gets me into bigger games, like street fighter or Tekken!

MMA SPORTS: After a long camp, and fight... what’s your favorite cheat meal to celebrate with?
DJ: Milkshakes and bowls of cereals.

MMA SPORTS: As the sport and fighters themselves become more mainstream, I am sure you get approached a lot… what’s it like being approached for autographs and pictures by fans?
DJ: It's awesome! Fans are respectful and nice, and I try to return the same feelings to them.

MMA SPORTS: Last one, what’s one thing fans don’t know about you that they should?
DJ: That I was balding in high school (laughs).

MMA SPORTS: Thanks for the time man, anything you wanna add?
DJ: Thank you for doing this interview, and I want to thank my sponsors: Rainier Crossfit, End Zone Athletics, XBOX360, and Univsall.
